Cardinal Nzapalainga has expressed his opposition to changing the priestly celibacy rule, saying it would be “too much of an upheaval for our churches in Africa,” but that he was open to changing it in the future. “From my point of view, all this is happening too soon,” he said. “Let’s allow things to mature.”
