Cardinal Parolin has made it clear in private that he is firmly opposed to the traditional liturgy. He reportedly played a “key role” in the creation of Traditionis Custodes, Pope Francis’ motu proprio restricting the Traditional Latin Mass and continues to push for restrictions.
