Cardinal Sarah has said: “If we look at what’s happening on the German synodal way, I don’t know where it’s going to lead. Towards a total reinvention of the Church? We’re going to take what everyone says and build a consensus. But the truth of the Church precedes us. It cannot be fabricated by us.”
